The Ruston-Bucyrus RB17/19 Crawler Excavator as used by Allied Combat Engineers and civilian contractors during WWII. This equipment was used on all fronts for many applications particularly in British and US naval landing areas, airfield, road building and bridging areas, and later in the post-war ‘clean up’.

It is true to say that this very well known equipment continued to be used for decades post-war and some may even still be in service today!

British vehicles serving in Northern and Western Europe in 1944-45 had an Allied white star painted on their sides for simplified recognition purposes.

These finished Artitec models are made in small production runs so don't delay in ordering.
