U.S. WWII, M5A1 Stuart Light Tank. Hedgerow Cutter.
Artitec 387.118 New 1/87 Scale Combat Ready, Hand Painted, Finished Model.
Complete, combat ready, fully assembled, detailed, custom painted and weathered resin model.
The M5A1 Stuart was the final stage of evolution of a single line in Light Tanks until it was replaced by the M24 Chaffee in 1944. The M5A1 was powered by two Cadillac V8 motors.
The hedgerow cutter devices were used to modify nearly three-quarters of the US 2nd Armored Division's Stuart and M4 Sherman tanks and M10 tank destroyers in preparation for Operation Cobra in the bocage country in France during summer 1944.
These finished Artitec models are made in small production runs so don't delay in ordering.
The Artitec finished models are all handmade and painted which makes every one unique. This means the paint patterns may vary a little and the detail parts may also be arranged differently.
These are for the serious collector / war gamer. These are not children’s toys!
