US Army, International Tractor M425, 5ton 4X2 Truck.

Wespe 87110. New 1/87 Scale, Resin Kit Unfinished.

Wespe Models resin kits are cleaned of extra flash and ready to assemble out of the box (unlike many other resin kits that you need to clean before assembly).

The M425 and M426 Tractor trucks were 5-ton load rated 4x2 semi-tractors that were used from 1944 on by the US Army. They are famous for the use on the Red Ball Express from Normandy to the front, but were also used in the China Burma India Theater.

Assembly required. This item is an unassembled and unpainted plastic model. 1/87 (HO) Scale. The factory photos may show it as a fully assembled and painted model. Paint, glue, and decals not included.

This model is for collectors and model makers from 14 years and older. It is not a toy.

Easy to assemble kit. There are two minor problems. 1. The fifth wheel needs to have the hole for the trailer hitch pin opened up to accept this pin. 2. The spare tire rack needs to be attached to the platform before attaching the cab to the frame. This will move the cab forward about a millimeter. This will require the front axle to also move forward on the springs so the front wheels will fit under the fenders correctly.
