The most commonplace truck of allied armies in WW2: The GMC 353 (and the short wheelbase variant the CCKW-352) has been nicknamed on the field "Jimmy" and "Deuce and a Half". It was called G-508 for the US Army Ordnance number.
The LWB CCKW 353 6x6, 2.5ton truck is by far the best known, pretty much standardized truck manufactured in the US from 1941 to 1945. It still was in service in the Korean War and Vietnam before joining the National guard while thousand more surplus were adopted by numerous armies around the world.
Only 7,235 were built of the GMC CCKW trucks were produced, 5000 with the 17ft cargo bed and 2235 with the 15ft cargo bed.
This model is the Cab Over cargo version of this truck with the 17ft cargo bed.
