M1120 THAAD Launcher, (Conversion kit. Truck not included).

Kniga 3786. Resin 1/87 Scale Unassembled Conversion Kit. (you will need a Minitanks HEMTT Truck to complete this kit).

THAAD (terminal high altitude air defense) is intended to defend against intercontinental missiles. The rockets do not have a warhead, but are intended to work through direct hits.

The THAAD launcher is a modified Oshkosh 8×8 M1120. It has an extended wheelbase and is equipped with a MEP 831 3kW/60Hz generator for power supply. It cannot be used to transport other PLS pallets. An ammunition pallet with eight rocket containers is included in this kit. This is also available individually (3644).

The factory photos may show it as a fully assembled and painted model. 

This kit contains parts to convert a HEMTT (not included) into a THAAD Launcher. A HEMTT from Minitanks is required for this kit.

      Assembly required. This item is an unassembled and unpainted Resin kit. 1/87 (HO) Scale. Instructions included. Paint, glue, and decals are not included but can be purchased separately.

  These models are comparable to the 1/87 scale Roco / Herpa Minitanks. They are the same size/scale.
